Boat Handling Instruction

At Noels' Ark, we will train you in basic boat handling, navigation and rules of the road on your boat or ours. Docking, good helmsmanship, anchoring, and navigation will be covered. Our certified instructors have years of experience in teaching boating safety, navigation, and maneuvering techniques. We believe that a strong foundation in boating skills is essential for a safe and enjoyable time on the water, and we are committed to helping you become a confident and competent boater.

Boat and Yacht Delivery Services

Covering the east coast of the United States, our professional delivery services can get it there safely and on time. Our licensed captains have the expertise and experience to handle all types of boats and yachts, from small runabouts to large luxury vessels. We offer both local and long-distance delivery services, so whether you're moving your boat across town or across the country, we can make it happen.

Long Island Sound & Connecticut River Excursions

Meet Captain Jim

Captain James R. Noel, a USCG Captain with a 100 Ton Masters License, offers expert boating services, including education, yacht delivery, and professional training. With over 25 years of experience teaching the Connecticut Safe Boating Licensing Course, he provides private, hands-on training focused on essential skills like close-quarter maneuvering and rough water handling. His extensive yacht delivery background ensures safe vessel transport across New England, while his work with the U.S. Navy demonstrates his capability with larger vessels. Specializing in Long Island Sound excursions, Captain Jim delivers not only safe journeys but also enriching boating experiences with a focus on professionalism and education.
